Freckles' and Elizabeth's Story

Freckles was 13 when her elderly owner, Elizabeth, began experiencing health problems, requiring frequent stays in the hospital.  We heard about the situation and found Elizabeth very reluctant to part with her old friend.  We said okay, and when you're ready, we'll be there.  Shortly thereafter Elizabeth entered a nursing home and Freckles came to live with us.  We sent Elizabeth updates on Freckles, including pictures, which became the highlight of Elizabeth’s day.  Freckles made several visits to the nursing home until Elizabeth passed.  We were thrilled to make Elizabeth's final days a little brighter by bringing Freckles for visits. 

AND THEN THERE WAS FRISCO
And then there was Frisco. Frisco was left all alone in the Dorchester apartment he shared with his

After Frisco's owner passed away, he was left all alone in the Dorchester apartment they shared.  He was fed and watered once a week by the owner's daughter.  Fortunately we found out about his plight and were able to give this great 10 year old a new home.  He recently passed away just one month short of his 20th birthday.
