17 Year Old Dusty

Dusty was surrendered to a "high kill" shelter that routinely euthanizes cats over seven years old because nobody wants old cats.  Dusty will live out the rest of her life here.

 

Our most recent retiree is Alice, 16 years old, whose owner had to give up her home and enter a nursing home.  Alice lived alone for 3 months, being fed by a neighbor.  Fortunately, we were asked if we could take her and we were able to do so.
